The Everest Expedition begins with a domestic flight to Lukla, the gateway to the Everest region, and gradually climbs up to the Everest Base Camp at an elevation of 5,300m. From there, we set up camp at several other elevations, including Camp I at 6,100m, Camp II at 6,400m, Camp III at 7,200m, and finally, Camp IV at 7,900m before attempting the summit. Prior to attempting the expedition, it is highly suggested to climb Island peak or Lobuche East peak for proper acclimatization, technical and physical preparation. This will also help in crossing the Khumbu Icefall, the most dangerous part of the expedition, with greater ease and safety.
