Embark on a journey to conquer the majestic peak of Mount Pumori, a pyramid-shaped mountain in the Himalayas, 8 km from Mt. Everest. Pumori offers a technically challenging climb for experienced and physically fit climbers, and is a popular training peak for those aspiring to climb the highest mountain in the world. At the summit, marvel at the breathtaking views of Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Everest and other peaks in Nepal and Tibet.
Your adventure begins with a flight to Lukla, followed by a 9-10 day trek to the base camp of Pumori. After spending two nights at the base camp, the climbing begins. From the South-East Ridge, you'll ascend through 3 camps, each offering its own unique challenges and breathtaking views. From glaciers to snow walls and ice walls, you'll navigate through crevasses and climb up the Pumori cliff before making the final ascent to the summit.
Spring is the best season to climb Mt. Pumori and most of the expedition teams use the South-East Ridge route. Take on this once in a lifetime opportunity to challenge yourself and reach new heights with a Mount Pumori Expedition.
